Role Description The Agency Business Partner is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuddalore, responsible for developing and managing agency relationships to drive business growth for ICICI Bank. This position includes identifying and onboarding agency partners, training and supporting them on bank products and processes, and monitoring their performance against business targets. The role involves regular field visits, joint customer meetings, and coordination with internal branches and product teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The Agency Business Partner will analyze local market opportunities, track sales metrics, and implement initiatives to improve productivity and customer acquisition. The role also requires adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards, accurate documentation, and timely reporting to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications

  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with agency partners and internal teams.
  • Sales and business development capabilities, including experience in target-driven environments and familiarity with retail or SME banking products.
  • Customer service orientation, with skills in understanding customer needs, resolving issues, and promoting suitable banking solutions.
  • Analytical and reporting skills, including basic proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools to track performance and prepare periodic reports.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local language, and the ability to conduct training or product briefings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or channel/agency management will be beneficial.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Cuddalore, conduct regular field visits, and comply with all regulatory and organizational policies.
