We're looking for an Affiliate Marketing Intern who is eager to learn partnership marketing, influencer outreach, and affiliate program management while working directly with the founders.
The Role
As an Affiliate Marketing Intern, you'll help build and grow StepsAI's affiliate and referral program. You'll identify potential affiliates, creators, agencies, communities, and business partners, build relationships with them, and support campaigns that drive qualified referrals.
This is a hands-on role where you'll learn how partnerships contribute to business growth and revenue in a SaaS startup.
What You Will Own
- Research and identify potential affiliates, influencers, agencies, and strategic partners.
- Reach out to prospective affiliates through email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with affiliate partners.
- Assist in onboarding new affiliates and helping them get started.
- Track affiliate performance and referral activity.
- Coordinate campaigns, promotional content, and marketing assets for affiliates.
- Maintain affiliate databases and update CRM records.
- Research competitor affiliate programs and industry best practices.
- Share insights and recommendations to improve the affiliate program.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit new affiliate partners.
- Reach out to creators, agencies, communities, consultants, and business partners.
- Support affiliate onboarding and communication.
- Track referrals, conversions, and campaign performance.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure affiliates have the resources they need.
- Prepare reports on affiliate performance.
- Assist in creating promotional materials, landing pages, and email campaigns for affiliates.
- Continuously research new partnership opportunities.

Requirements
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable reaching out to new people through email and LinkedIn.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, Excel, or similar tools.
- High ownership mindset and willingness to learn.

- Internship or project experience in marketing, partnerships, or sales.
- Knowledge of affiliate marketing or influencer marketing.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Canva, ChatGPT, or AI tools.
- Basic understanding of SaaS, e-commerce, or digital marketing.
