Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced AEO/SEO Specialist who can own and scale Kapiva's organic
search presence across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. This
role blends classical SEO expertise with the newer discipline of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
— ensuring Kapiva's products and content surface prominently in AI-generated answers, featured
snippets, voice search results, and conversational AI platforms.
You will work cross-functionally with content, product, performance marketing, and engineering
teams to drive organic growth for kapiva.in. You will also be responsible for managing and
coordinating with external SEO/digital agencies to ensure aligned execution and quality output.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategy covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO for kapiva.in and key landing pages
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis to identify high- intent organic opportunities in the health, wellness, and Ayurveda space
• Own technical SEO audits — crawlability, site speed (Core Web Vitals), schema markup, internal linking architecture, and indexation health
• Drive link-building and digital PR initiatives to strengthen domain authority
• Monitor and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, and conversion metrics using Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
• Optimise content and site structure for AI-driven discovery platforms (Google SGE/AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Bing Copilot)
• Implement and refine structured data (FAQ, HowTo, Product, Review schema) to maximise featured snippet and rich result eligibility
• Build a knowledge-first content strategy — ensuring Kapiva's brand and products are referenced in AI-generated health and wellness answers
• Track brand visibility across AI answer engines and develop attribution frameworks for AEO- driven traffic
• Stay ahead of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) trends and adapt strategies as search behaviour evolves
Content & Organic Growth
• Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-optimised blog posts, category pages, product descriptions, and educational content around Ayurveda
• Identify and execute topical authority strategies to position Kapiva as a trusted source in the wellness and Ayurveda space
Agency Management
• Manage and coordinate with external SEO/digital agencies on deliverables, timelines, and performance targets
• Define clear briefs, review agency output for quality, and ensure alignment with Kapiva's brand and SEO strategy
• Hold agencies accountable through regular reviews, performance tracking, and course corrections as needed
Analytics & Reporting
• Build dashboards and deliver weekly/monthly reports on organic growth, search visibility, and AEO performance
• Run A/B tests on meta titles, descriptions, and content formats to continuously improve organic CTR and engagement
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership with clear business impact framing
Must-Have Qualifications
• 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably with a D2C, e-commerce, or FMCG brand
• Proven track record of growing organic traffic and improving search rankings at scale
• Strong command of SEO tools: Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
• Solid understanding of technical SEO — site architecture, JavaScript rendering, Core Web Vitals, structured data
• Working knowledge of AEO principles — structured data, entity-based content, AI-friendly formatting
• Experience with content strategy, keyword clustering, and editorial SEO
• Prior experience managing or coordinating with external agencies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable growth plans
