AEM Sites Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform enhancements and bug fixes for existing web applications.
• Develop and maintain UI components using technologies such as jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Implement backend functionality leveraging Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag Libraries, JSTL, and enterprise frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Use CI/CD tools such as Maven and Jenkins for build and deployment automation.
• Apply code quality and security checks using tools like SONAR.
• Develop Touch UI components, Sightly (HTL), and Sling Models for AEM front-end development.
• Build AEM backend features using Sling Servlets, OSGi Components, and JCR Queries.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems effectively and efficiently.
• Professionally handle client interactions and communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Willingness to work extended hours to overlap with North America time zones (preferred).
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of AEM foundational concepts, including CRX repository, AEM platform architecture, Apache Sling, and Apache Felix frameworks.
• Familiarity with the latest features and enhancements in AEM.
• Experience in application development, distributed applications, and Internet/Intranet-based database applications.
