Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished
AEM Lead / Architect with deep expertise in
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Cloud and
AEM development. The ideal candidate will have strong
JavaScript proficiency, a solid grasp of
AEM architecture, and hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance AEM-based digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of AEM solutions, including AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Define and enforce AEM architecture standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks for enterprise implementations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AEM developers, ensuring adherence to performance, maintainability, and quality standards.
- Develop and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, DevOps, Backend, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery of end-to-end digital experiences.
- Optimize AEM environments for performance, scalability, and security in cloud-based deployments.
- Conduct code reviews, technical design discussions, and solution validation sessions.
- Evaluate and adopt new AEM capabilities to enhance platform functionality and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve complex AEM-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on Adobe Experience Cloud and JavaScript ecosystem advancements to implement modern development approaches.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 6+ years in AEM development and architecture.
- Proven hands-on experience with AEM Cloud / AEM as a Cloud Service (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Deep understanding of AEM architecture Sling, OSGi, JCR, Dispatcher, and AEM deployment topologies.
- Experience integrating AEM with third-party systems, APIs, and enterprise services.
- Proficient in Java, Apache Sling models, and OSGi services.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices for AEM deployments.
- Strong understanding of AEM caching, workflows, permissions, and replication mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills with a focus on solution ownership.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe Certified Expert AEM Architect / Developer / Cloud Service.
- Experience with Headless CMS and AEM GraphQL APIs.
- Exposure to Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions (Target, Analytics, Campaign, etc.).
- Experience with AWS or Azure hosting environments.
