Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
AEM Forms Frontend Developer to design, develop, and enhance user-friendly, responsive, and accessible forms using
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Forms. The role focuses on frontend customization of Adaptive Forms, client-side scripting, UI styling, and seamless user experience across devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize AEM Adaptive Forms using standard and custom components.
- Implement client-side logic using JavaScript for validations, dynamic behavior, and user interactions.
- Customize Adaptive Form themes, styles, and layouts using CSS and AEM theming tools.
- Work with XDP / Adaptive Form fragments and reusable form components.
- Integrate frontend forms with backend services via REST APIs and Form Data Models (FDM).
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility (WCAG).
- Optimize form performance and usability.
- Collaborate with backend developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot UI issues related to forms rendering and user interactions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow AEM best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with AEM Forms Adaptive Forms.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Experience with AEM Forms rules editor, client libraries (ClientLibs), and custom scripts.
- Knowledge of Form Data Models (FDM) and REST integrations.
- Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).
- Experience with Git, Maven, and agile development practices.
Good to Have
- Experience with AEM Cloud Service (Forms as a Cloud Service).
- Exposure to HTL / Sightly.
- Knowledge of XFA / PDF forms.
- Experience with UI frameworks (Bootstrap, custom design systems).
- Adobe AEM Forms certification.
Experience Level
- 5+ years of experience in frontend or UI development
- Relevant experience in AEM Forms frontend development
