About Position
We are seeking a skilled AEM Developer with expertise in Edge Delivery Services (EDS), Java, and Python to build high-performance, scalable digital experiences. This role bridges traditional AEM backend development with modern edge-based front-end delivery, focusing on serverless architecture, performance optimization, and seamless content delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AEM components, API integrations, and modern development workflows, along with the ability to deliver fast, reliable, and user-centric web solutions.

What You'll Do
- Develop and implement websites using AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS) for high-performance content delivery
- Build serverless web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript consuming content from AEM, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs
- Develop backend components using Java, Sling Models, OSGi, and AEM APIs
- Design and implement REST APIs and data processing pipelines using Python
- Integrate AEM with external systems such as commerce platforms, CMS, and personalization engines
- Optimize website performance to achieve high Core Web Vitals, including LCP improvements
- Implement CDN caching strategies and lazy/eager loading techniques
- Work with GitHub-based workflows for deployment and version control
- Manage document-based authoring and content lifecycle processes
- Support migration of existing AEM platforms to Edge Delivery Services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
Expertise You'll Bring
- Strong experience in AEM development including Java, Sling Models, HTL, OSGi, and JCR
- Hands-on experience with Edge Delivery Services (EDS), GitHub, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, backend development, and API integration
- Experience working with serverless architecture and microservices-based systems
- Knowledge of CDN caching, performance optimization, and Core Web Vitals
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and system integration patterns
- Experience with document-based authoring and modern content delivery approaches
- Ability to design scalable backend systems and optimize application performance
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in migrating traditional AEM solutions to Edge Delivery Services
- Good understanding of modern development workflows and DevOps practices
