Job Description: AEM Developer

As a AEM Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform to deliver seamless, website and digital experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Development and Implementation

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance AEM solutions.
  • Develop AEM components, templates, workflows, and services using technologies like Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

2. Content Management

  • Customize AEM content authoring tools to enhance the authoring experience.
  • Create and manage content hierarchies, tagging, and metadata structures.
  • Ensure seamless content delivery across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.

3. Maintenance and Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of AEM environments.
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement fixes to maintain system reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards.

4. Collaboration

  • Work with UX/UI designers to implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure defect-free delivery of AEM solutions.
  • Work with Devops team for CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.

5. Testing and Deployment

  • Conduct unit testing and code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with best practices.
  • Manage code repositories and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

  • 2-6 years of experience in developing AEM-based solutions.
  • Experience with AEM EDS

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, and OSGi frameworks.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Experience with Sling, JCR, and Sightly (HTL).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration with external systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
