About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience to join our digital experience team. The ideal candidate is proficient in both
AEM as a Cloud Service and the modern
Edge Delivery Services (EDS) architecture, while also being comfortable working with the legacy
AEM Sites (Touch UI / Classic UI) stack. A strong plus is the ability to leverage
AI productivity tools like Claude, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT to accelerate development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows using AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
- Build and manage content experiences using Edge Delivery Services (EDS) with document-based authoring (Google Docs / SharePoint + Helix/Franklin pipeline).
- Maintain and enhance existing solutions built on AEM 6.x (Classic/Touch UI) — including legacy component migration and refactoring
- Develop custom OSGi bundles, Sling Models, Sling Servlets, and backend Java services
- Build responsive, accessible front-end components using HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, CSS, and React/Vue (for EDS-based projects)
- Work with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Analytics, Target, and other Adobe Cloud integrations
- Implement and manage Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Multi-Site Manager (MSM)
- Write and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Adobe Cloud Manager
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, content authors, and business stakeholders to deliver digital experiences
- Actively use AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up code generation, debugging, documentation, and content workflows
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
AEM Core
- 4–5 years of AEM development experience
- Strong expertise in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) — dispatcher, cloud-native features, RDE (Rapid Development Environment)
- Hands-on experience with Edge Delivery Services (EDS) / Adobe Helix / Franklin — block development, document-based authoring, content pipeline
- Solid knowledge of AEM 6.x legacy architecture — Classic UI, Touch UI, CRX/DE, replication agents
- Proficiency in Sling Models, OSGi, Felix, JCR, Oak repository
Front-End
- Strong in HTL (Sightly), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Familiarity with React or Vue.js for EDS block development
Back-End / DevOps
- Java development for OSGi bundles and Sling Servlets
- Experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins, Adobe Cloud Manager
- Knowledge of AEM Dispatcher configuration and caching strategies
AI & Productivity Tools(Strong Plus)
- Practical experience using Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools in day-to-day development
- Ability to use AI for code generation, test writing, debugging, documentation, and prompt-based content authoring in AEM EDS workflows
