Your Role

As an AEM Sites Java Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You'll work closely with architects, UX designers, and content teams to deliver high-performing, personalized digital experiences. Your expertise in Java, AEM components, and integrations will ensure robust and maintainable implementations aligned with best practices.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Component & Template Development
• Build custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, and client libraries using Java, Sling, and HTL (Sightly).
• Backend Development & Integrations
• Implement OSGi services, workflows, and integrations with third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs and secure data exchange.
• Content Authoring Enablement
• Create reusable, author-friendly components and configure editable templates, ensuring flexibility and ease of use for content teams.
• Performance & Scalability
• Optimize AEM instances for high availability, caching, and load balancing; troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and memory issues.
• Code Quality & Best Practices
• Follow AEM development standards, enforce code reviews, and maintain unit/integration tests for reliability and maintainability.
• Deployment & Environment Management
• Support DevOps pipelines, manage dispatcher configurations, and ensure smooth deployments across environments.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement secure coding practices, manage user permissions, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Your Profile

• Experience: 3–7 years in web development with at least 2+ years hands-on in Adobe Experience Manager (Sites).
• Mindset: Solution-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about building scalable, maintainable systems.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including UX, QA, and DevOps.
• Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

2. Strong experience with AEM Sites, including components, templates, dialogs, clientlibs, and editable templates.

4. Proficiency in Java, OSGi services, Sling models, and AEM backend development.

6. Hands-on with HTL, CSS/JS, and client-side libraries; understanding of responsive design and SPA frameworks.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of SEO best practices and accessibility standards.
• Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Sites Developer certification.
