AEM Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and maintain web solutions on the AEM platform.
• Build custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and services.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Integrate AEM with other Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions and third-party APIs.
• Work with Sling, JCR, HTL/Sightly, OSGi, and other AEM technologies.
• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of AEM solutions.
• Optimize performance and scalability of AEM applications using caching, dispatcher rules, and code enhancements.
• Lead or support AEM upgrades, migrations, and environment setups.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for code, technical design, and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 510 years of professional experience in AEM development (including versions 6.4 and above, ideally AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Strong knowledge of:
• Sling, JCR, OSGi, HTL/Sightly
• Java, JSP, Servlets
• Front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and web performance best practices.
• Familiarity with AEM dispatcher configuration and caching strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Adobe Cloud Manager.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Developer or Architect) is a plus.
• Experience with AEM Headless (Content Fragments, GraphQL APIs).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Exposure to other Adobe Experience Cloud tools (Target, Analytics, Campaign) is an advantage.
