We are looking for an experienced AEM DAM Engineer with 57 years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets (DAM) development and configuration. The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical expertise in building and optimizing DAM workflows and metadata structures but also bring proven application support experience, ensuring stability, troubleshooting, and smooth operations of the DAM platform.
About The Job
- Design, configure, and optimize AEM DAM solutions, including metadata schemas, folder structures, and taxonomy.
- Develop and enhance asset ingestion workflows, renditions, automation pipelines, and publishing processes.
- Support and troubleshoot AEM DAM application issues, including incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution.
- Monitor system health, performance, and asset delivery pipelines; resolve issues.
- Manage access controls, permissions, and governance frameworks within DAM.
- Collaborate with business and creative teams to define DAM requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Develop technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support procedures.
- Work with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure system stability, availability, and scalability.
- Participate in on-call support rotations for critical application issues.
About You
- 57 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets/DAM development and configuration.
- Knowledge of DAM fundamentals:
- Metadata schema modelling and taxonomy
- Asset ingestion and workflow design
- Renditions and Dynamic Media publishing
- Asset lifecycle management
- Application support experience, including:
- Incident & problem management
- Root cause analysis and debugging
- Monitoring and performance tuning
- Solid coding and troubleshooting skills in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, and REST APIs.
- Understanding of permissions, access control, and asset governance.
- Familiarity with AEM Cloud Manager / AEM as a Cloud Service.
Qualifications
- Adobe AEM certification (Developer or Assets Specialist).
- Experience with integrations (Creative Cloud, PIM, CMS, or eCommerce systems).
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and log monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, or CloudWatch).
- Hands-on experience in migration projects (legacy DAM to AEM).
