Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Adobe AEM Backend Developer to design and develop scalable AEM backend solutions. The role involves working on backend components, OSGi services, integrations, and modern AEM architectures while following Adobe best practices. Exposure to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend components using Adobe AEM
- Build and maintain OSGi services, Sling Models, and Servlets
- Develop and customize AEM workflows
- Integrate AEM with external systems using REST APIs
- Work on build and deployment processes
- Ensure adherence to AEM best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with frontend teams, architects, and stakeholders
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting
- Support production issues and performance optimization
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands‑on experience in Adobe AEM Backend development
- Proficiency in Java / J2EE
- Experience with OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR
- Hands‑on experience with Sling Models and Servlets
- Knowledge of AEM Author, Publish, and Dispatcher architecture
- Experience in REST API integrations
- Familiarity with Git and Maven
- Good understanding of AEM backend architecture and best practices
Good‑to‑Have Skills
- Exposure to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
- Experience with Dispatcher configuration
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines / Cloud deployments
- Exposure to performance tuning and security
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent.
