The Tribunal also deals with claims arising from injury, death, or loss suffered by passengers in railway accidents and untoward incidents. This body ensures justice is delivered pertaining to such claims efficiently and effectively.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jabalpur for an Advocate at the Railway Claim Tribunal. The Advocate will handle legal proceedings, represent clients in claims against the Railway Administration, and offer legal advice. The role involves researching legal issues, drafting legal documents, preparing and presenting cases, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of legal processes, advocacy, and litigation
- Proficiency in legal research, documentation, and drafting
- Solid communication and negotiation skills for effective client and courtroom interactions
- Ability to manage case files, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Prior experience in claims or railway-related cases is recommended
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and valid license to practice
