Advocacy Assistant

The Advocacy Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will be responsible for supporting advocacy initiatives, conducting research and policy analysis, preparing reports, and promoting awareness on consumer-related issues. Responsibilities also include assisting in organizing campaigns, events, and workshops to educate the public about consumer rights and best practices. Collaboration with stakeholders and communicating with diverse audiences will be key aspects of this role.

• Strong skills in Research, Data Analysis, and Policy Analysis
• Excellent Writing, Communication, and Presentation skills
• Event Coordination, Campaign Management, and Organizational skills
• Ability to develop Advocacy Strategies and build stakeholder relationships
• Proficiency in using technology and software tools for documentation and communication
• Commitment to consumer rights and knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and global trends
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Legal Studies, Communications, or related fields
• Previous experience working in advocacy or a related field is an advantage
