Job Description

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags and steering wheels and you can be part of our team as Advanced Specialist / Senior Specialist - Supplier Quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier quality issues from production lines and establish immediate containment actions.
  • Raise supplier complaints through the NCM portal and drive corrective actions using G8D methodology.
  • Monitor and communicate NCM status, closure progress, and supplier performance to plant management.
  • Drive supplier rejection cost recovery and ensure timely closure of quality concerns.
  • Verify supplier inspection reports, incoming quality inspections, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Support PPAP activities, supplier qualification, service part approvals, and PLM approvals.
  • Review and approve supplier packaging solutions.
  • Manage Quality Inspectors and Supplier QRE resources.
  • Conduct supplier audits, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead digitalization and automation initiatives within the quality function.
  • Drive quality improvement projects through QCF, QIT, and Kaizen activities.

Qualifications

Education

  • BE in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering

Preferred Certification

  • IATF Internal Auditor

Experience

  • 10-13 years of experience in the Automotive Industry
  • Experience in Supplier Quality, Incoming Quality, Plant Quality, or Manufacturing Quality roles
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and PowerPoint
