Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who can transform data into meaningful business insights and influence decision‑making at a strategic level. This role requires strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and analytics, along with the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders and senior leadership.
You will own the analytics lifecycle—from understanding business problems to delivering insights through compelling, high‑quality dashboards and analysis.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Drive data‑driven decision‑making by delivering clear, actionable insights to business and leadership teams
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for executive and operational use
- Build and optimize data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns in Power BI
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective analytical solutions
- Define and track KPIs, metrics, and success measures aligned with business objectives
- Perform deep‑dive analysis, trend analysis, and root‑cause investigations
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and dashboards
- Conduct ad‑hoc analysis to support business initiatives and strategic planning
- Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to improve data quality and reporting efficiency
- Present insights through meaningful data storytelling, not just numbers
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices
Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst
- Strong expertise in Power BI, including:
- Data modeling (star schema, relationships)
- Advanced DAX
- Performance optimization and report scalability
- Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, query optimization)
- Strong proficiency in Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas)
- Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or data validation
- Solid understanding of analytics concepts, statistics, and data visualization best practices
- Experience working with large, complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain insights to non‑technical stakeholders
