Manager / Senior Manager - Advanced Manufacturing EngineeringWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager / Sr. Manager to join our team, specializing in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automation of manufacturing lines, assembly line layout design and development, jigs and fixtures design and development, process documentation (SOP / PFC / PFMEA / PCP / Standard Work), Poka-Yoke development, New Product Introduction (NPI), optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and enhancing operational efficiency.
This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) Senior Analyst is responsible for developing, improving, and implementing advanced manufacturing processes and technologies to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Process Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Project Management
- Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to implementation, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Technical Support
- Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Lean Manufacturing
- Promote and implement Lean Manufacturing principles and practices to drive continuous improvement across the production line.
- Equipment Management
- Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, tools, and systems.
- Data Analysis
- Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Documentation
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, procedures, and engineering modifications.
- Training & Development
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices and new manufacturing technologies.
- Safety Compliance
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience
- 10-12 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior or lead role within the power electronics industry.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Familiarity with UPS system components and assembly processes.
- Certifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing certification is an added advantage.
