Role Summary:

• Ensure reliability, availability, security, and performance of end to end AI services running on Azure.
• Operate and monitor critical AI infrastructure (AKS, App Gateway, Portkey, LangSmith, Redis, Postgres, Imperva).
• Blend 24×7 AI Operations with SRE best practices (SLOs, error budgets, postmortems, automation).
• Own identity, access, and secrets governance across the entire AI platform.
• Drive faster incident response, predictable cost, and improved system resiliency.
• Use Grafana as the central command center for monitoring, alerting, and operational insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Real Time Ops & Incident Response.
• Site Reliability Engineering.
• Azure & Platform Reliability.
• Identity, Access & Secrets Management (IAM).
• Cost, Capacity & Performance.
• Automation & Tooling.

Must Have Qualifications:

• 3-5 years in SRE / DevOps / Platform Engineering / AI Ops, including on call.
• Strong Azure expertise: AKS, Application Gateway, VNets, Key Vault, Azure Monitor.
• Solid Kubernetes experience: RBAC, networking, Helm, workloads, autoscaling.
• Strong IAM knowledge: Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, PIM/JIT, access reviews, workload identities.
• Experience running and tuning Redis and PostgreSQL in production.
• Deep familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus.
• Hands on scripting (Python/ Bash/PowerShell) for automation.
• Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and RCA skills.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with Portkey, LLM gateways, or AI inference systems.
• Experience with LangSmith, chain/agent observability, or AI workflow tracing.
• GitOps tools
• OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, SCIM, secrets rotation programs.
• Security tools: Imperva, Azure WAF, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel.
• Chaos engineering familiarity
• Certifications: AZ 104, AZ 305, AZ 400, Security/Networking.
