About The Role
As an Embedded Bluetooth Engineer, you will work on software solutions for Bluetooth connectivity in automotive infotainment systems and related platforms. This role involves integrating and optimizing Bluetooth stack solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and compliance with Bluetooth specifications across multiple platforms and environments.
What You Will Do
- Work on Bluetooth connectivity domain, integrating various Bluetooth stack solutions into embedded platforms.
- Customize and optimize Bluetooth protocols and profiles for automotive environments.
- Develop and maintain production-ready software following defined development processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with Android and other operating systems.
- Mentor and guide team members on technical aspects of Bluetooth stack development.
- Take ownership of Fluoride stack-related activities and drive technical solutions.
- Develop new test frameworks and methodologies for Bluetooth stack testing.
- Contribute to Bluetooth SIG working groups and stay updated on latest Bluetooth standards.
What You Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferably from premier institutes).
- Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Bluetooth connectivity domain, including protocols, profiles, and core specifications.
- Excellent programming skills in C, C++, and Java.
- Strong familiarity with various Android versions and Bluetooth integration.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Design and methodologies.
- Good understanding of Bluetooth tools (e.g., Bluetooth sniffers).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills in a multi-site environment.
- Ability to mentor team members and drive technical initiatives.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience developing new test frameworks for Bluetooth stack testing.
- Knowledge of Android HAL and lower layers.
