Qualifications
- Advance Embedded Engineer (Industrial automation with field commissioning experience IOT, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation)
- Description
- Subject matter expert on PLC, DCS and field instruments, industrial 4.0, Network domain testing, Software testing and automation etc.
- Well versed with Firmware Verification of Emdedded System Testing.
- System / Product Verification or Solution Verification for industrial automation products.
- Work with cross functional agile teams
- Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done
- Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.
- Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software
- Design / Implement test automation infrastructure
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, electrical/Electronic engineering
- 5 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation
- Min 3 years Experience in field commissioning for PLC, DCS and field instruments.
- Experience with software management tools (JIRA, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision
- Preferred Embedded Product Testing Experience (Smart line transmitters, Siemens, Yokogawa, Rockwell, Schnider etc.)
- Preferred Experience on Web automation and desktop application automation
- Preferred Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (Jira, Rally, etc.)
