About the department
Commercial Insight & Analytics, GBS Bangalore, is responsible for data management, analytics and insight generation for the global markets. The unit supports global stakeholders in taking commercial execution decisions through data-driven insights. The department encompasses various functions such as Frontline Excellence, Contract Operations, Pricing, Business Intelligence, Data Science & Strategy and Channel Dynamics.
The Position
The role is for Patient Analytics function supporting U.S. business. As an Advanced Business Analyst, you will:
Communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership confidently and persuasively.
. Lead scoping discussions with key stakeholders, understand business objectives, and context of associated data sets to provide expert recommendations on generating business insights.
. Develop visually compelling dashboards and reporting using tools like Tableau, SQL (Dataiku) or Python, to effectively communicate analytical findings/recommendations to stakeholders.
. Analyze complex US healthcare data from diverse sources, including IQVIA, Novocare pharmacy, other prescription, and patient-related datasets.
. Utilize advanced statistical and analytical techniques to uncover meaningful patterns and trends in data. Develop and implement sophisticated predictive models to forecast patient outcomes, disease progression, and medication adherence.
. Lead projects end-to-end and work across multiple projects simultaneously
. Develop custom analysis tools/dashboards using a variety of applications such as Advanced Excel, VBA, Python, SQL, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
. Conduct quality checks of various reports and analyses, ensuring documentation is recorded and maintained to deliver high-quality outcomes.
. Prepare management presentations and independently make recommendations based on data, market, and business insights.
. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and independently execute tasks/projects with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
. A Master's Degree (preferably within a tech/life sciences/statistics/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute.
. Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics field, with at least 3 years in analyzing US healthcare data.
. Proficiency in tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python is must.
. Must have worked on US patient datasets like LRx, LAAD, APLD, etc.
. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
. An understanding of healthcare processes, patient support programs, patient-related regulations, policies, and guidelines.
. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
. Great attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and work in complex business environment
. Strong project management skills to facilitate cross-functional projects
The candidate will have to support stakeholders until 12 noon U.S. time.
