Advanced Associate, Quality Assurance



The Quality Assurance Analyst within Test Publishing ensures that exams function reliably so that clients and candidates do not experience any issues with the exam. The TPQA Analyst does this by verifying and validating exams against specifications.



This role is not a software Quality Assurance (QA) position. The role involves quality checking exams produced using Pearson Professional Assessments proprietary software using xml and html. Primarily using internal tools and software to run reports, using excel and databases to check large amounts of data, and visually checking and testing exam functionality and performance.



Key Responsibilities



  • Complete full and detailed checks on all tasks using Pearson Professional Assessments test driver software


  • Create and develop test plans, ensuring compliance with approved processes


  • Run full end-to-end quality checks of exams using Pearson Professional Assessments proprietary software and a range of internal and external tools and systems.


  • Provide detailed and accurate feedback of quality issues found during quality checks


  • Provide detailed, timely, efficient tracking and reporting on all assigned projects


  • Work closely with all internal stakeholders as required during normal day-to-day activities


  • Plan work effectively to ensure that deadlines are met and tasks are completed to the highest quality standards.


Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications



  • Higher educational qualification, preferably in a technology-related field


  • Experience and understanding of QA methodologies


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications


  • Detailed, logical and common-sense approach to daily tasks, objectives, goals and projects


  • Strong organisational and time-management skills


  • Ability to work on own initiative


  • A high-energy approach and ability to work quickly to get resolutions


  • Problem identification and solving skills


  • The ability to work in a dynamic team environment coupled with the ability to successfully communicate to all types of audience and across different cultures and regions.


  • Keen eye for detail.


  • Excellent written and verbal English


  • Flexibility related to workflow and changing priorities


  • Flexibility regarding working additional hours to meet client needs and to work with colleagues globally


  • High level of technical acumen


Working Arrangements



Working hours - 45 hours per week in Noida office



  • Flexibility in schedule required based on business needs


Salary



This role has an annual base salary of 800,000 INR P.A
