We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an
Experience Associate to join the
Renewable Energy team in our
Tax practice.
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

This position will support our
Tax team and this team Prepares and or Review US Federal Income tax returns of Partnership/ Form 1065 (
Renewable Energy).

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Independently prepare federal and state US tax returns, including partnership / Form 1065, returns (Renewable Energy).
- Prepare and maintain high quality workpapers, tie outs, and supporting documentation.
- Handle moderately complex to complex tax returns with limited supervision, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards.
- Apply US tax technical guidance received through training and prior review feedback.
- Follow all instructions from the engagement team carefully and ask questions to clarify any doubts before proceeding
- Manage multiple client assignments by balancing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Act as a buddy to junior staff by providing guidance, technical support, and helping them understand team processes.
Your Experience.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax concepts and general accounting principles
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate work papers.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and documentation integrity.
- Strong written and verbal communication for documentation and inquiries.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in U.S. taxation
- Experience with U.S. tax software such as CCH Axcess, Go-System, OneSource, ProSystem, and CCH Engagement/CaseWare.
