Advance PL/SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced PL/SQL programs including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Optimize and fine-tune PL/SQL code for performance improvements and memory management.
• Write complex SQL queries and manage data transformation, extraction, and integration processes.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to stored procedures and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with application developers, DBAs, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Implement and enforce best practices for PL/SQL development and data handling.
• Support production systems and participate in on-call rotations if required.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, design specs, and deployment guides.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and PL/SQL blocks.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and transaction management.
• Proficiency in Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, Toad, SQL Developer, etc.
• Experience with performance tuning, execution plans, indexes, and bulk processing.
• Familiarity with data migration, ETL processes, and error handling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle 12c/19c or higher.
• Knowledge of Oracle Apex, Forms & Reports is a plus.
• Exposure to Unix/Linux scripting and job scheduling tools (like Cron, Autosys).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
