Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Advanced Excel & Power BI Trainer. The trainer will design and deliver online sessions focused on advanced Excel functionalities (including formulas, data analysis, dashboards, automation) and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization, reporting). Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating training materials, creating practical examples and case studies, conducting live interactive classes, and providing guidance and feedback to learners. The trainer will assess learner performance through assignments, quizzes, and projects, and suggest improvements to enhance course quality and learner outcomes. The role may also involve collaborating with the internal team to refine curriculum, support learner engagement, and contribute to promotional or demo sessions when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Training and Teaching skills, with experience delivering structured sessions on Advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Coaching to design practical, industry-focused learning paths and mentor learners.
- Comfort with basic Sales or demo activities, such as conducting trial classes or explaining course value to prospective learners.
- Expert-level knowledge of Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, dashboards, macros/VBA) and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualization, publishing).
- Prior experience training students or professionals in engineering, analytics, or related domains is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Reliable internet connection, familiarity with online teaching platforms, and ability to manage virtual classrooms effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
