Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

  • Provide critical thinking and a high degree of technical expertise and attention to detail while being recognized as a trusted advisor to the team and stakeholders. The characteristics include being versatile, displaying leadership qualities, enthusiasm to take on new problems and the aptitude to develop as an Implementation Specialist for Marketing Technology.
  • At the direction of the Manager Engineer, provide technical leadership for the ongoing implementation, management and strategic design of Marketing Technology (Martech). This involves working closely with solution designers, business analysts, product owners, user experience designers, quality engineers and engineering managers within an agile delivery environment.

Essential capabilities

  • A senior engineer with a wealth of development experience including the ability to provide technical leadership and will have an operations mindset to enable the buildout of robust, secure and maintainable implementations.
  • Proven end-to-end consulting and solution design skills.
  • Excellent communication skills which must translate to the deepest technical discussions.
  • Adtech implementation and management to support digital marketing.
  • Experience working with diverse teams from development, testing, security, architecture, infrastructure to business and management.
  • Experience with build management tools including continuous integration and delivery practices and tools (Gradle, Jenkins)
  • Experience with continuous test automation tooling (Perfecto, Applitools)
  • Experience with latest development methodologies and tooling
  • Development experience using common IDE and source systems (Android Studio, Git)
  • Writing unit and functional automation tests (Junit, Roboelectric, Espresso)
  • Release and configuration management practices including parallel development (tagging/branching strategies), managing multiple versions and third-party library dependency management.
  • Experience with repository artifact management
  • Knowledge of code quality analysis tools (coverage, duplication, complexity, dependency analysis and standards)

Experience

  • 5+ years as an Implementation Specialist for Marketing Technology with experience in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Marketing Platform/Console Management, Adobe Mobile SDK, Adobe AT.JS, Adobe IO, Adobe Platform APIs, Tealium Audience Stream, Tealium IQ, Tealium Event Stream, Ensighten Manage, Ensighten One, Ensighten APIs.
  • 5+ years in Application Development, Digital Marketing, or associated field Demonstrated solid technical skills.
  • Ability to be self-learning with a strong technical aptitude.
  • ETL skills (Scripting, Scheduling, Transforming, Loading and Preparation)
  • SQL
  • JavaScript
  • Programming language such as JAVA, Objective C or Python
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and managed services (Azure, AWS, MADI, DBT) as applied to AdTech and MarTech solutions.
  • Experience working as an engineer within one or more backend technologies, RESTful JSON APIs and microservices.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (specifically Analytics, Audience Manager, Target).
