State Street is making a multi-year strategic investment in Alpha Data Services. We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in documenting and optimizing our business processes. The Asset Management Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes within the Alpha Data Service Practice area around Security Master.

Responsibilities:
Conduct gap analysis to evaluate client requirements against scope of project, and against the standard product offering.
Document and assist in defining core product changes which are needed to meet the scope, goals and deliverables.
Production of business case and financial business benefit and realisation analysis budget estimation, allocation, variance tracking, and reporting.
Work with the client implementation teams, technology and service management teams, to document, manage and oversee the end-to-end delivery of Core product changes throughout the lifecycle of the project, whether technical or process.
Propose and design solutions, including new software, systems, or processes, to address identified core gaps. Defining any data flows, data mappings, translations or business logic.
Document detailed operating procedures, including workflows and process roles and responsibilities as art of core product evolution.
Organise workshops and meetings as required to drive Practice service gap closure.
Assist in testing and implementing changes and providing training to users.
Ensure risks, assumptions and constraints are appropriately communicated and escalated when necessary
Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders, present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions and implements project changes and interventions to achieve project goals for core product changes
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of process documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Provide support and training to team members on new processes and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience of 10+ years, as a Business Analyst, preferably in the asset management industry with a focus on Security Mastering, price and security reference data & benchmark.
Strong understanding of asset management operations and financial products.
Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in asset management.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel).
