Bachatt provides a savings and investment platform to specifically target over 30 crore self-employed individuals in India, who find regular mutual funds and investment platforms daunting. often have irregular income streams.

Bachatt is on a mission to bring over 30 crore Indians to invest in mutual funds, and generate wealth beyond the usual instruments of FDs and Post Office schemes. Further, the vision is to empower them to access the full suite of financial products like loans, insurance and credit cards, in a simplified and curated experience, like an offline insurance or mutual fund agent provides them.

The company was founded in November 2024 and raised over $15 million in two rounds of funding, by leading marquee investors of the likes of Lightspeed Venture Partners, Info Edge Ventures and others.

About the Role

We are looking for an Ads Manager who sits at the intersection of ad technology, brand partnerships, and product thinking. This is not a pure sales role or a pure tech role — it is a techno-managerial position where you will own the full advertising lifecycle at Bachatt: from sourcing and closing brand deals, to configuring and operating campaigns inside Google Ad Manager, to working with engineering to build product features that improve ad performance and user experience.

You will be the primary owner of Bachatt's publisher-side ad operations, acting as the bridge between our brand partners, our ad infrastructure, and our product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Ad Operations & Campaign Management

  1. Own end-to-end campaign setup, trafficking, and optimisation in Google Ad Manager (GAM) — including line items, creatives, targeting, priority rules, frequency caps, and pacing
  2. Manage AdMob configuration for programmatic backfill demand with floor price controls to maintain ad quality standards
  3. Define and enforce native ad templates in GAM so all ads — direct or programmatic — render on-brand inside the Bachatt app
  4. Monitor campaign delivery daily; identify under-delivery, creative issues, or pacing problems and resolve proactively
  5. Maintain app-ads.txt, ads.txt, and all supply chain transparency requirements

Direct Brand Partnerships & Advertiser Relations

  1. Source, pitch, and close direct advertising deals with brands relevant to Bachatt's user base — fintech, BFSI, consumer goods, lifestyle, and e-commerce
  2. Negotiate CPMs, flat-rate packages, sponsorship deals, and barter arrangements with brand marketing teams and their agencies
  3. Build and maintain a rate card and inventory calendar for Bachatt's premium ad placements
  4. Serve as the primary relationship manager for all active advertisers — from onboarding through campaign delivery and renewal
  5. Collect campaign creatives, review them for brand safety and technical compliance, and coordinate approvals

Agency Partnerships

  1. Identify and empanel media buying agencies and digital marketing agencies as channel partners to scale advertiser outreach
  2. Negotiate agency commission structures and manage agency-facing rate cards
  3. Own the agency pipeline — track deals in progress, forecasts, and revenue attributed to agency channel

Who You Are

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  1. 2-4 years of hands-on experience operating Google Ad Manager (GAM) — trafficking line items, managing orders, configuring native ad templates, setting up open bidding or mediation
  2. Working knowledge of Google AdMob — mediation setup, ad unit configuration, floor prices
  3. Direct experience in publisher-side ad sales — you have personally sourced and closed brand deals, not just managed campaigns handed to you
  4. Strong understanding of in-app advertising fundamentals: ad formats (banner, interstitial, rewarded, native), CPM/CPC/CPL pricing, waterfall vs. header bidding, programmatic vs. direct
  5. Comfort with analytics tools — Google Analytics, Firebase, or equivalent — to make data-driven decisions
  6. Ability to write clear product requirements and work directly with developers without heavy hand-holding

Good-to-Have Skills

  1. Experience with mobile app analytics platforms (AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Firebase)
  2. Familiarity with the GMA SDK integration process (Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS)
  3. Prior experience at a fintech, consumer app, or digital media publisher in an ad monetisation or growth role
  4. Knowledge of OpenRTB, SSPs, DSPs, and the broader programmatic ecosystem — even if you won't be operating them day-to-day
  5. Experience building or maintaining a rate card and agency empanelment process
