Role Overview
As an Adobe Journey Optimizer QA Lead, you will spearhead quality assurance initiatives for multi-channel marketing campaigns. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing test strategies, validating campaign workflows, ensuring data integrity, and leading a QA team to deliver high-quality customer journeys across platforms such as email, SMS, push notifications, and web.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for Adobe Journey Optimizer campaigns, workflows, and data interactions.
- Campaign Validation: Ensure the accuracy of segmentation, personalization, and automation within AJO campaigns.
- API & Data Testing: Conduct testing of REST APIs, validate data flows, and verify campaign triggers using tools like Postman and SOAP UI.
- Automation: Utilize automation testing tools such as Selenium, and scripting languages like Java or Python, to enhance testing efficiency.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to stakeholders, including walkthroughs of QA activities and test results.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all QA processes adhere to industry best practices and comply with relevant data privacy regulations
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in QA roles, with at least 2 years focused on Adobe Journey Optimizer or similar platforms.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Journey Optimizer, including campaign setup and workflow management.
- Proficiency in testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI, and automation frameworks such as Selenium.
- Experience with scripting languages like Java or Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with databases and ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead QA initiatives
