Adobe Commerce Cloud Developer - Magento

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2-based eCommerce applications, extensions, and custom modules.
• Build reusable and modular code components aligned with Magento's best practices.
• Integrate and extend RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints; extend GraphQL schemas for custom module functionality.
• Manage Magento indexing, caching (Varnish/Redis), cron jobs, and backend sync processes.
• Configure and maintain multi-site, multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency environments.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product managers in Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and maintainability of Magento installations.
• Conduct peer code reviews, promote clean code principles, and enforce coding standards.
• Work on headless commerce or PWA Studio-based architectures (preferred).
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation using tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Magento 2 development (including Commerce/Enterprise editions).
• Deep knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Experience in developing custom modules and back-end functionalities.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and extending Magento GraphQL schemas.
• Solid understanding of Magento indexing, caching strategies, and cron job management.
• Proven experience integrating third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, and Constructor.io.
• Hands-on experience with multi-store/site setups supporting multiple currencies and languages.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and automated testing tools (JUnit, RestAssured, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Agile practices and collaboration tools such as Jira.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Adobe Certified Professional or Expert Magento Commerce Developer.
• Experience working with Magento PWA Studio or other headless eCommerce architectures.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience with performance tuning, load testing, and implementing security best practices.
