Role Description The Admissions Pre-Sales Executive / Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based at MEWA – Vanguard Business School in Bengaluru. The role involves engaging with prospective students and families through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and online inquiries, providing clear information about programs, admission processes, eligibility, and career outcomes. The counselor will conduct campus tours, participate in information sessions, and support events such as open houses, school visits, and education fairs to generate qualified leads. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and updating lead databases, following up consistently, guiding applicants through form filling and documentation, and coordinating with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth enrollment experience. The role also includes contributing to outreach plans, sharing feedback from prospects, and maintaining professional communication that aligns with the institution's values and service standards.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to build rapport with diverse students and families.
  • Candidates should possess counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student goals, clarify doubts, and guide them toward suitable programs and admission decisions.
  • Candidates should possess sales and pre-sales skills, such as lead generation, follow-up, conversion, and basic negotiation, while maintaining an ethical and student-centric approach.
