Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Admissions Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement admissions strategies that align with the school's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Marketing & Outreach: Design and implement marketing campaigns to attract prospective students, including hosting open houses, school tours, information sessions, and other events.
  • Managing Applications: Oversee the process of receiving, reviewing, and processing student applications, ensuring that all documentation is complete and timely.
  • Student Interviews & Tours: Conduct interviews with prospective students and their families, as well as lead school tours to provide insight into the school's culture, values, and academic programs.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of applicants, admissions statistics, and conversion rates. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on enrollment trends and projections.
  • Parent Communication: Serve as a point of contact for prospective parents and students, addressing questions and concerns about the application process, school policies, and student life.
  • Collaborating with Faculty & Staff: Work with faculty and administrative staff to ensure alignment in the admissions process and foster a welcoming environment for new students.
  • Enrollment Management: Develop systems to ensure smooth transitions for newly admitted students, including support for orientation and integration into school life.
  • Maintaining Compliance: Ensure the admissions process complies with all school policies, regulations, and legal requirements, including diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience in educational admissions or a related field, ideally within a K-12 setting.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with admissions software and data management systems.
  • A passion for education and supporting student success.
  • Desired Skills: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in marketing and outreach activities.
  • Knowledge of trends and best practices in educational admissions.
