The Role
As an Academic Counsellor, you will be the bridge between a student's current potential and their future career. We are looking for a driven professional with 1 to 3 years of experience who possesses high energy, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in student advising, inside sales, or customer relationship management.
In this role, you will leverage your experience to provide specialised guidance for students pursuing rigorous paths like Research, Internships, USMLE, and International Cambridge certifications. You must be an enthusiastic, empathetic communicator who can simplify complex educational pathways and motivate students to achieve their academic and career goals.
Key Responsibilities:-
Specialised Academic Counselling: Quickly master our core educational segments and guide students and working professionals toward the right academic or certification path.
Effective Communication & Consulting:
Listening: Actively listen to students and parents to understand their career anxieties, academic gaps, and goals.
Writing: Craft clear, structured, and highly professional study plans, proposals, and emails.
Speaking: Conduct high-impact, confident, and consultative counselling sessions in both English and Hindi.
Lead Management & Conversion: Efficiently manage incoming inquiries, follow up diligently, explain the value proposition of our courses, and drive enrollment into the appropriate YungUnitee certification tracks to meet targets.
Student Lifecycle Support: Maintain regular touchpoints with enrolled students to ensure high engagement with our gamified learning modules and Practera projects.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of student interactions, pipelines, and feedback in our CRM system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:-
Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience in Academic Counselling, EdTech Sales, Career Advisory, Inside Sales, or Customer Relationship management.
Education: Graduation in any stream is mandatory.
Communication: Exceptional command over both English and Hindi (Written and Verbal).
Interpersonal Skills: A natural ability to build instant rapport, warmth, and trust with a target demographic of 16–35-year-old students and young professionals.
Tech Comfort: Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, CRM tools, video conferencing software, and an aptitude for learning new digital platforms.
Aptitude: Target-driven, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced, scaling environment.
