Admissions Counselor

Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based at our Bengaluru campus. This role involves engaging with prospective learners and their families, explaining program offerings, admission criteria, and career outcomes. The Admissions Counselor will conduct information sessions, respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and guide applicants through the end-to-end admissions process. Responsibilities include evaluating applications, coordinating interviews or assessments, maintaining accurate records in admissions systems, and following up with candidates to support timely decisions. The role also includes collaborating with marketing and academic teams, participating in outreach events, and providing feedback to improve admissions processes and prospective learner experience.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to engage effectively with learners, families, and internal teams.
• Customer service and sales skills to handle inquiries, address concerns, and support enrollment goals in a consultative, learner-centered manner.
• Understanding of education-focused environments and interest in higher education, career pathways, and technology-focused programs.
• Ability to manage multiple applications and tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Comfort using CRM or admissions management tools, email, and productivity software for tracking and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or business is an advantage.
• Prior experience in admissions, counseling, academic advising, or student-facing roles is preferred.
• Capacity to work on-site in Bengaluru, including during peak admission periods that may require flexible hours.
