Job Title: Admission Counselor

Location: Jayanagar, Bengaluru.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: 2-3 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Admission Counselor to lead our institution'senrolment

efforts. Reporting to the Principal, you will drive student recruitment, manage theadmissions process, and ensure a seamless experience for prospective students and families. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of experience in admissions for schools or colleges, with a proven track record of meeting enrolment targets in a competitive educational landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive admission strategies to achieve annual enrolmentgoals, including outreach campaigns, open houses, and targeted marketing.

Oversee the entire admissions lifecycle, from inquiry management and applicationprocessing to interviews, offers, and enrolment confirmation.

Build partnerships with schools, colleges and community organizations togenerate high-quality leads and increase applicant pools.

Analyse admission data, trends, and metrics using tools like CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or similar) to optimize processes and report on KPIs to leadership.

Collaborate with academic, marketing, and finance teams to align admissions with program offerings and budget constraints.

Represent the institution at fairs, webinars, and events to promote programs and foster relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field(Master's preferred).

2-3 years of hands-on experience in admissions or enrolment management within schools, colleges, or educational organizations.

Strong understanding of UG & PG education admission cycles, including competitive landscapes in India or similar markets.

Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and admissions software (e.g., PowerSchool, Blackbaud, or ERP systems).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences including parents, students, and educators.

Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and targetachievement.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in admissions counselling (e.g., from NACAC or equivalent).

Multilingual abilities, especially Hindi, Kannada, or other regional languages.

Familiarity with digital marketing tools for lead generation (e.g., Google Analytics,social media platforms).
