Role OverviewThe Admissions Counsellor will be responsible for managing and coordinating the student admissions process while serving as a key point of contact for prospective and existing parents. The role requires strong communication skills, relationship management, data tracking capabilities, and the ability to effectively represent the school's vision, values, and educational offerings.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdmissions & Parent Engagement- Guide prospective parents through the admission process and address all related queries
- Coordinate appointments and interactions between prospective parents and the Principal
- Facilitate the complete admissions journey from enquiry to enrolment
- Arrange orientation sessions for parents with relevant school authorities
- Manage admission-related documentation, registrations, withdrawals, and student records
Relationship Management & Communication- Act as the primary point of contact for sharing school-related information with prospective parents
- Stay updated on school events, programmes, and activities to effectively communicate them to parents
- Ensure timely communication of notices and circulars related to admissions and withdrawals
- Build strong relationships with prospective families and external stakeholders
Marketing & Outreach- Plan and support marketing initiatives to increase visibility and strengthen the school's brand presence
- Coordinate presentations, information sessions, and outreach activities in collaboration with academic coordinators and the marketing team
- Visit pre-schools and educational institutions to generate visibility and explore partnership opportunities
- Engage with industries, corporates, and MNCs in the region to promote the school among prospective parents
- Handle follow-ups with prospective parents through calls, emails, and other communication channels
Data Management & Reporting- Maintain records of enquiries, walk-ins, leads, conversions, and follow-ups
- Track and analyse admission trends, budgets, and conversion ratios through MIS reporting
- Maintain databases generated through advertisements, campaigns, and outreach initiatives
- Use data and trends to identify action areas and improve admissions performance
