We are looking for a relationship-oriented Admissions Counsellor & Business Development Manager who understands the Indian education ecosystem and can build long-term partnerships with schools, parents, educators, and educational consultants.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, believes in the power of education and storytelling, and can communicate our vision with warmth, credibility, and conviction.

Key Responsibilities
1. School Partnerships & Institutional Sales (B2B)
* Identify and approach schools, preschools, learning centres, and educational institutions.
* Present and pitch The Book Baker's programs, workshops, competitions, publishing opportunities, and literacy initiatives.
* Build relationships with principals, coordinators, school management teams, and decision-makers.
* Develop proposals and partnership opportunities tailored to each institution.
* Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospective school partnerships.
* Coordinate follow-ups and convert discussions into workshops, programs, and long-term collaborations.
2. Admissions & Parent Counselling (B2C)
* Follow up with incoming leads from social media, website enquiries, referrals, events, and word-of-mouth channels.
* Conduct counselling calls with parents to understand their child's needs and recommend suitable programs.
* Explain program structure, outcomes, timelines, and publishing opportunities.
* Manage the admissions process from enquiry to enrollment.
* Maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing families.
3. Lead Generation & Business Development
* Conduct thoughtful cold outreach to schools, educators, and relevant organizations.
* Identify new channels for growth and lead generation.
* Explore partnerships with NGOs, children's brands, libraries, learning centres, activity providers, and educational communities.
* Develop referral networks and strategic alliances.
* Identify opportunities for corporate-sponsored literacy initiatives and storytelling projects.
4. Educational Consultant Network
* Build and manage relationships with educational consultants and student-development advisors.
* Promote Publish with Purpose and other flagship offerings through consultant partnerships.
* Create mutually beneficial referral arrangements.
* Maintain regular communication and relationship management with partner consultants.
5. Lead Management & Follow-Up
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipelines.
* Ensure timely follow-up with all prospects and partners.
* Track conversations, proposals, pending decisions, and next actions.
* Provide regular updates on pipeline status and business development activities.
* Meet monthly targets while maintaining a consultative, relationship-driven approach.
6. Market Intelligence & Opportunity Discovery
* Stay informed about trends in education, enrichment programs, children's publishing, and experiential learning.
* Recommend new business opportunities, products, partnerships, and markets.
* Support the launch of new initiatives under The Book Baker and The Woven Tales.

Ideal Candidate
Required Skills
* 2–5 years of experience in admissions, education sales, school outreach, counselling, partnerships, or business development.
* Strong understanding of the Indian education landscape.
* Excellent spoken and written English.
* Confident presentation and relationship-building skills.
* Comfortable conducting meetings, presentations, and follow-up calls.
* Organized, self-motivated, and process-oriented.
* Proficiency with Google Workspace and CRM tools.
