Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager Admissions (Outreach)

Reporting To: Associate Director- Admissions Outreach
1. Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager/Manager Admissions (Outreach) is responsible for conceptualising and executing outreach strategies to enhance institutional visibility and drive student enrollment across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The role focuses on building strong external partnerships, optimising regional outreach efforts, and supporting lead-to-admission conversions in assigned territories.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and implement region-specific outreach strategies to maximise visibility and student engagement.
- Analyse regional and national admission trends to inform data-driven planning for outreach.
- Contribute to institutional go-to-market strategies in alignment with annual admission targets.
B. Operational Responsibilities
- Achieve defined targets for leads, applications, and confirmed admissions within the assigned geography.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with schools, junior colleges, degree colleges, and coaching institutes.
- Plan and execute outreach initiatives, including school/college presentations, career talks, workshops, education fairs, and open houses.
- Identify high-performing feeder institutions and prioritise engagement efforts accordingly.
- Prepare and manage detailed outreach calendars (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Coordinate logistics, travel, and promotional materials for outreach activities.
- Monitor and manage the complete admission funnelfrom lead generation to enrollment.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and performance dashboards for review.
C. Financial & Budget Management
- Plan, monitor, and optimise outreach budgets to ensure cost-effective operations and maximum ROI.
- Track expenses related to travel, events, and promotional activities.
D. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain productive relationships with school principals, counsellors, coaching centre heads, and institutional partners.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Communications, Admissions, Faculty, and Finance,e to ensure seamless execution of outreach initiatives.
E. Admissions Engagement
- Actively support the admissions process by engaging with prospective students and parents.
- Facilitate counselling sessions, follow-ups, and query resolution to improve conversion ratios.
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, compliance norms, and ethical standards.
F. External Representation
- Represent MIT-WPU at educational forums, professional bodies, fairs, and community events.
- Engage with government bodies, educational associations, and external stakeholders to strengthen institutional visibility and partnerships.
3. Person Specification
Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
- Preference for candidates with prior experience in the education sector, admissions, or institutional outreach.
Experience
- 6 to 12 years of relevant experience in admissions, outreach, student recruitment, or institutional partnerships.
- Proven experience in managing large territories and stakeholder networks.
