Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for a results-driven and proactive Admission Manager / Admission Counselor to manage the complete student admission process. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing student leads through various channels, screening and selecting eligible candidates, and driving successful enrollments. This role is focused on building strong student pipelines and ensuring smooth execution of the admission lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in any discipline.

Minimum 2 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or student recruitment roles.

Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple sourcing channels and follow up effectively.

Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Sourcing & Lead Generation

Actively source student leads through various channels including:

College placement officers and institutional partnerships

Collaborations with other admission managers and consultants

Social media outreach and posting

Student referrals and alumni networks

Online job portals and inquiry platforms

Participation in job fairs, admission fairs, and education expos

Leads from corporate tie-ups and HR connections


2. Profile Screening & Admission Interviews

Review and assess student profiles for eligibility and program fit.

Schedule and conduct admission interviews to select suitable candidates.

Provide detailed program information and resolve queries during the admission counseling process.


3. Admission Process Management

Manage the end-to-end admission process, including:

Student enrollment and application documentation

Coordination of fees collection

Onboarding of admitted students with welcome and orientation support


4. Student Counseling & Engagement

Counsel prospective students on program options, career paths, and academic requirements.

Build relationships with students and their families to support informed decision-making.

Ensure a high level of student satisfaction and engagement throughout the admission process.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in education marketing or student outreach.

Knowledge of career and academic pathways.

Comfortable with frequent outreach and relationship-building.
