Role Description The Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The counselor will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, providing program information, and explaining admission criteria, timelines, and procedures. Daily responsibilities include conducting campus presentations and counseling sessions, following up with leads, maintaining accurate applicant records, and coordinating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission experience. The role also involves participating in outreach activities, education fairs, and school visits, as well as supporting application review and assisting with conversion efforts from inquiry to enrollment. The Admission Counselor will uphold SIU's values of inclusivity, integrity, and student-centered service in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills for engaging with students, families, and institutional stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to deliver a supportive, responsive, and professional admissions experience.
• Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to effectively present programs, address concerns, and support inquiry-to-enrollment conversion.
• Candidates should possess Education-related awareness or experience, enabling informed guidance on academic pathways and program requirements.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, Management, Communication, or related fields) and experience in admissions, counseling, or student services are beneficial.
• Additional beneficial skills include proficiency with CRM or admissions management systems, data entry and reporting, presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse institutional environment.

Note: Nagpur based local candidates with University Experience will be highly preferable
