Role Description The Admission Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The Admission Counselor will guide prospective students and families through the college search and admission process, including explaining programs, eligibility, application steps, and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, conducting counseling sessions, and helping individuals compare colleges and courses using Profession Hike's platform. The role involves maintaining accurate records of interactions, following up with leads, and supporting conversion goals through ethical and informative counseling. The Admission Counselor will collaborate with internal teams to share student feedback, improve information accuracy, and contribute to outreach and engagement initiatives.

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to effectively counsel and support diverse learners and families.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle queries professionally, provide clear information, and ensure a positive experience.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to manage leads, support enrollment targets, and promote relevant programs in a consultative, non-pressuring manner.
• Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience to understand academic structures, admission processes, and career pathways.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with basic computer tools and CRM systems, the ability to work in a target-driven environment, strong organizational skills, and fluency in English and Hindi.
• A bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in Education, Counseling, Management, or related fields, and prior experience in admissions, counseling, or education services will be an advantage.
