Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rohini for an Admission Counselor in EdTech. The Admission Counselor will guide prospective students and professionals through the admission process, address inquiries, and provide personalized counseling. Responsibilities include offering information about courses, assessing candidates needs, and facilitating the admissions journey. The role also involves contributing to sales efforts through consultations and ensuring an excellent customer service experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Admission Counsellor to join our dynamic admissions team. You will be responsible for guiding prospective students through our offerings, addressing their academic aspirations, and driving successful admissions conversions through effective communication and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective students via inbound lead follow-ups through calls (leads provided).
  • Drive conversions through outbound calls, understanding prospects needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Explain educational programs and services clearly and effectively.
  • Conduct online demos and counseling sessions to recommend appropriate education plans.
  • Leverage product knowledge to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
  • Build rapport with leads using excellent listening, soft skills, and presentation abilities.
  • Consistently close sales and achieve monthly admission targets.
  • Maintain CRM records to ensure accurate and up-to-date lead tracking and follow-ups.
  • Share weekly performance reports including sales targets, progress, and challenges with management.
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and referrals.
  • Attend regular training sessions to stay informed about new programs and industry updates.

Requirements:

  • 13 years of proven experience in admission counseling or outbound sales, preferably in the education industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills.
  • Confident, soft-spoken, empathetic, and a good listener.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Highly adaptable, accountable, and goal-driven.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and lead management tools.
