Job Description

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, and parent-focused Admission Counsellor to handle the school admission process and build positive relationships with prospective parents and students. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, a professional approach, and preferably prior experience working in a school or educational institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents and students regarding admission enquiries.
  • Provide parents with clear and accurate information about the school's CBSE curriculum, facilities, activities, and overall learning environment.
  • Understand the requirements of parents and guide them appropriately through the admission process.
  • Handle the complete admission cycle, from enquiry and counselling to application, documentation, and final enrollment.
  • Conduct campus tours and explain the school's facilities and key offerings to prospective parents.
  • Conduct admission counselling sessions and address parent queries professionally.
  • Follow up with prospective parents through calls, messages, and other appropriate communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and admissions.
  • Coordinate with the academic, administration, accounts, and other relevant teams for smooth completion of the admission process.
  • Assist parents with required admission forms and documentation.
  • Participate in open houses, admission drives, school events, and parent interaction programs.
  • Support the school's admission and outreach activities to generate and convert prospective enquiries.
  • Work towards admission targets while maintaining a positive and professional experience for parents.
  • Ensure all admission procedures and documentation are completed accurately as per school policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline; Education, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in school admissions, counselling, parent relations, education.
  • Prior experience working in a school or educational institution will be preferred.
  • Experience in handling parents and students will be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CBSE schools and admission procedures will be preferred.
