Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive, target-oriented, and experienced Admission Counselor – PGDM to manage the complete student admission lifecycle for PGDM programs. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students and parents, driving enrolments, and ensuring a smooth and professional admission experience.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience in PGDM admissions counselling and should possess strong communication, conversion, and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding PGDM programs, specializations, eligibility criteria, admission process, and career opportunities.
- Handle walk-ins, inbound/outbound calls, and digital leads to achieve admission targets.
- Conduct personalized counselling sessions to guide students in selecting suitable PGDM courses and career paths.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students to maximize lead conversion and enrolments.
- Maintain strong conversion ratios and meet monthly/quarterly admission targets.
- Coordinate with academic, marketing, and operations teams for smooth admission processes.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and conversions in CRM systems.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and parents to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Participate in admission events, seminars, education fairs, and promotional activities when required.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or education sales.
- Must have prior counselling experience for PGDM programs/admissions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Target-driven with a proven track record in achieving admission goals.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
