Admission Counsellor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admission Counsellor based in Sonipat. The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, delivering counseling sessions, and providing information about academic programs, fees, and career prospects. Daily tasks include handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, ensuring a positive admission experience, maintaining student databases, and collaborating with teams to achieve enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct counselling sessions with prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility, and career opportunities.

• Provide complete guidance on admission procedures and documentation.

• Conduct campus tours and explain facilities, infrastructure, and student life at the university.

• Handle walk-ins, calls, and online enquiries professionally.

• Follow up with leads to ensure conversion into admissions.

• Maintain accurate records of enquiries and counselling sessions.

• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth admission processing.

• Participate in admission-related events, drives, and seminars.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Experience in counseling, student engagement, or consultation roles
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, email communication, and basic computer applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet enrollment goals
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
• Experience in the education industry is a plus
• A bachelor's degree in any field
