About the Role :

As an Academic Counsellor at Campus Dekho.AI , you will be the primary point of contact for prospective students and their parentsguiding them through the program offerings and admission process. You'll play a crucial role in shaping their educational journey by providing accurate program information, resolving queries, and ensuring a seamless and engaging enrollment experience.

Student & Parent Counselling
  • Provide professional, clear, and ethical guidance to prospective students and parents throughout the admissions journey.
  • Explain program offerings, eligibility criteria, fee structures, financial assistance options, and campus facilities in a transparent manner.
  • Build strong rapport and trust through personalized, empathetic, and solution-oriented counselling.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to support students in making well-informed admission decisions.
  • Handle anxious or irate students and parents with patience, sensitivity, and tact.
Admissions Operations
  • Ensure timely completion, verification, and documentation of all admission-related processes.
  • Coordinate with internal academic and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and accurate record management.
  • Track, update, and report admission funnel metrics and student progress.
  • Support campus visits, counselling drives, admission events, and orientation programs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in handling additional responsibilities and extended working hours during peak admission periods.
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Patient, empathetic, and composed under pressure.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking capability.
  • Professional demeanor with a presentable appearance.
  • Target-oriented with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
Preferred Background
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or customer-facing roles (preferably in Education or EdTech).
  • Prior experience in selling or counselling technical or career-oriented courses will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
  • Graduate degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) is mandatory.
Work Schedule
  • 6 working days per week (rotational shifts based on rosters).
