Role Overview -

We're looking for a driven and customer-focused Business Development Associate who enjoys meaningful conversations and closing high-impact deals. In this role, you'll engage with learners and professionals, understand their career goals, and guide them toward the right upskilling solutions. You'll own the sales journey end-to-end and play a direct role in driving revenue growth.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy consultative selling, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to build a strong career in EdTech sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with prospective learners through calls, chats, and follow-ups to understand their career aspirations and learning needs
  2. Own the complete sales cycle from lead qualification and needs discovery to solution pitching and closure
  3. Deliver personalized program recommendations aligned with learner goals
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in CRM tools
  5. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to improve conversion rates and learner experience
  6. Stay informed about EdTech trends, competitor offerings, and evolving learner expectations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in EdTech / B2C sales (inside sales or counseling preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools such as LeadSquared, Salesforce, or similar
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Consultative selling mindset with strong objection-handling ability
  • Confidence in pitching and closing high-ticket programs
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with targets
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with learners
