Role Description The Administrative Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the office and showroom. This role includes supervising administrative staff, coordinating schedules, managing documentation, and maintaining accurate records for vendors, inventory, and customer orders. The Administrative Manager will collaborate closely with sales, design, and operations teams to support client-facing activities, monitor office supplies and facilities, and handle basic financial and billing processes in coordination with accounting. The role also involves implementing and improving administrative procedures, preparing reports for management, supporting HR-related tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including office management, documentation control, and record-keeping.
  • Experience with coordination and operations, such as scheduling, workflow management, and cross-functional team support.
  • Competence in basic financial administration, including invoice tracking, expense monitoring, and liaison with accounting teams.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, email, spreadsheets) and comfort with learning new software systems.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams, vendors, and customers in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in administrative management or office supervision; experience in furniture, interior design, or retail environments is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and maintain a customer-centric, service-oriented approach aligned with Akruti Living's quality
