Role Description The Admin Manager will oversee day-to-day administrative operations to ensure smooth functioning of the institute's academic and support services. Responsibilities include managing office administration, coordinating with academic departments and support units, supervising non-teaching staff, and maintaining records, documentation, and compliance with institutional policies. The role involves planning and monitoring facility management activities, supporting event and examination logistics, liaising with external vendors and service providers, and contributing to process improvements. The Admin Manager will also assist leadership with reporting, data management, and communication across departments. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology in Chennai.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, including office management, record-keeping, and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional activities, manage staff, and oversee facilities and campus services.
- Proficiency with standard office software, spreadsheets, and basic data management tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in educational institution administration or similar large organizational setting is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Management, Business, or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time constraints.
- Knowledge of institutional policies, compliance requirements, and basic budgeting or resource management is preferred.
